I’m Myasia Juel Brown, founder of The Juel Affect.

I didn’t grow up understanding how credit worked—and like most people, I had to learn through experience. I watched my mother go through bankruptcy and rebuild from nothing. I saw what it really takes to start over, to lose, and to put things back together.

Instead of avoiding it, we faced it.

We learned together. We asked questions and figured out how everything really worked—the parts people don’t explain and the things you only learn by going through it.

Denials for apartments, cars, and basic approvals showed me one thing clearly: credit isn’t just a number, it’s access. And mine kept saying no.

So I decided to master it.

What started as figuring it out for myself turned into helping other people do the same. Not just fixing credit—but understanding it, building it the right way, and using it to create real opportunities.

The Juel Affect was built from that mission not just to fix credit, but to open doors.
