Frequently Asked Tradeline Questions

Is this legal?

Yes. Being added as an authorized user is a completely legal and common practice. Banks allow it, and the credit bureaus report it.

Title or Question

No. You are added for credit reporting purposes only. You will never receive or have access to the physical card.

How long does it stay on my report?

Tradelines remain on your credit report for 60 days, with an option to extend if needed. Details on extensions will be discussed at the time of purchase.

What does the closing date mean?

The closing date is the day the tradeline reports to the credit bureaus. You need to be added at least 10 days before the closing date to ensure it’s included in the next billing cycle. We handle the timing for you to make sure everything posts correctly.

How fast will I see results?

Once added at least 10 days before the closing date, the tradeline typically reports to your credit file within that next billing cycle — meaning you could see it on your report within 30 days.
